It covers non-hospital medical services such as GP visits, diagnostics, and follow-up treatments. These are typically the most frequently used benefits and help employees manage everyday health needs without hospitalization.
All services below are cashless for employees - you cover the cost, and we handle the rest.

These benefits cover medical visits outside of the approved clinic network (panel). That means if your employee chooses to see a doctor who is not part of our partner clinics, they can still get reimbursed for the consultation - up to the limits set in the plan.

What's included in each Soda plan?
Soda Starter includes panel clinic coverage (2,000+ clinics), cashless payment, and all outpatient services. Soda Plus adds non-panel clinic coverage, claim submission support, and flexible benefits platform. Both use pay-per-use medical costs. Soda Flex offers customisable benefits that go beyond medical coverage. Soda Pro is a comprehensive plan that includes both inpatient and outpatient benefits.
Is there a minimum number of employees?
No minimum required! Soda works for companies of any size, from 1 employee to hundreds. There are no group discounts or size-based pricing—same transparent rates for everyone.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. There is a platform fee (based on the number of employees). Medical costs are pay-per-use based on actual utilization. A refundable security deposit is required at activation (typically 2 months of estimated usage).
Can I switch plans later?
Yes! You can upgrade from Starter to Plus anytime. When you upgrade, platform fees start for Plus plan and new features become available immediately. Soda operates month-to-month.
How does billing work?
You receive monthly invoices at the end of each month covering only the medical services used that month. Platform fees (if on Plus or higher plan) are included in the monthly invoice. Learn more about billing.
What is a refundable security deposit?
A security deposit is required when you activate your policy. It's fully refundable when you terminate and typically equals 2 months of estimated utilization. This ensures coverage while maintaining flexibility. Learn more about security deposit.
What’s the average cost per visit using panel rates?
On average, GP consultations cost between $25–$35 per visit with medication, thanks to panel pricing. Your employees can enjoy panel GP visits at a flat $13 per visit (consultation fee). For specialist visits, the typical range is $80–$120, and physiotherapy starts at $150 for the first visit with $135 for follow-ups.
